Robert Hall Winery receives prestigious
"Golden State Winery 2010" honor

 

July 7, 2010 - Sacramento, CA - The California State Fair honored the best winemakers, vineyards and wineries in the state at this year’s 15th Annual California Grape & Gourmet. The Grape & Gourmet,the state’s premier wine event, was created to celebrate and acknowledge excellence in the California wine industry, as determined by the 2010 State Fair Commercial Wine Competition, the oldest and most prestigiously judged wine competition in North America. At this year's competition there were nearly 3,000 wine entries received from more than 600 participating wineries. The Golden Winery honor is extended to the winery which has the greatest number of wines winning the highest number of awards. Robert Hall Winery of Paso Robles, CA is honored to receive the Golden Bear trophy along with: 5 Best of Class - South Central Coast Appellation honors, 3 Gold and 7 Silver Medals:

Winemaker Don Brady accepted the Golden Winery honors on behalf of Robert Hall Winery, which represents the first time in the competition’s history that a Paso Robles or Central Coast AVA winery has ever received this honor.
