Featuring honeysuckle blossom and sweet spice aromas, our 2017 Viognier shows flavors of white peach, apricot, and tropical fruit with a hint of lime zest. On the palate, the wine has a luscious body and finishes with a balanced mouthwatering acidity.
Picked early in the morning to keep fruit cool, the 2017 vintage was fermented in neutral French Oak puncheons. Aged sur lie for 3 months.
The 2017 vintage began with above average rainfall as the Paso Robles area began to rebound from drought. The wet start was followed by average temperatures that lasted through June. Higher than average winds during bloom affected fruit set in some areas of Paso Robles. In spite of difficult conditions, the vintage shows excellent maturity and depth of flavor
