A truly Classic California Cabernet Sauvignon with lush overripe to dried black and blue fruits dominating the mid-palate, an array of savory herbaceous aromatics with a whisper of green olive, and this beautiful dusty sandalwood which helps envelope the velvety tannins. The 2022 Cavern Select Cabernet Franc has aromas of red plum, leather, and dried herbs. Flavors of blackberry and wet stone accompany this wine’s fine-grained tannins with a long finish. Pair with wood fired Italian pizza, braised short ribs, eggplant parmesan, manchego, and gouda.
